    The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance.     Make your donation go further: a donation of €250 or more in any tax year is worth an additional 44.93% to ITMA. So for €50 more, ITMA can claim an additional €112.33 tax back from revenue.

    Irish-based donors can see their donations augmented by the State through the CHY3 form, which makes any donation above €250 worth €362.33 towards ITMA’s archival work, at no additional cost to you.

    ITMA is eligible for 501(c)3 donations, so for potential donors based in the USA, donating to ITMA can be a tax efficient way of making more and more archival material accessible to remote users.

    The story of the Trip to Lithuania is that Paddy Mulcahy and Lenka Fairy had been making some trips there and Lenka had started a few dance workshops while visiting. The Irish Embassy there invited them to perform at the May Day festival 2024 and the celebrating of Lithuania being in the EU for 20 years and so Paddy and Lenka asked if I would perform with them. It was my first time visiting the country and I was in awe of the beauty of it’s cities and the lovely architecture and thus inspired my tune Trip to Lithuania. I wanted it to have a feel of both cultures.
