This five-part jig came to me in bits and pieces with many people playing it at different times, either on the radio or at many music sessions. It’s a great rouser of a jig with each part having its own interpretive values. Joe Cooley’s playing of it was an inspiration when hearing his way of grinding through the tune. It was like Joe was giving it its day of reckoning and final salvation of soul.
