Fiddler Tommy Potts had a lovely way of playing this. It was another tune that gave credit to Tommy’s great creative instincts. This, with its three parts, is a combination of Tommy’s version and some notes of my own. It’s originally a piper’s tune and one which Willie Clancy played with great conviction and sensitivity. Willie’s playing of it was with the original two-part setting.
