I named this in honor of my friend Dr. Nancy Iverson, who was born in Nebraska. She is one of nature’s true humanitarians, especially for her great work for America’s underprivileged. When I composed this tune in 1985, I had no name in mind, but soon after Nancy told me where she grew up, I said, “I’m naming a tune after you”. She responded with: “Wow!”
