The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
This also is an old Lough Gowna Ceilf Band tune from the 1960s. I recorded it on an LP for the Shanachie label in 1978 with James Kelly and Daithí Sproule. The LP that time was called ‘Is It Yourself’, and has been re-released since on a Shanachie CD called, ‘Traditional Music Of Ireland: James Kelly, Paddy O’Brien, and Daithf Sproule’. I believe this jig has another title within the O’Neill collection.
