This reel also went under the name of ‘Captain Rock’. I remember first playing it with banjo player Seamus Egan, of Lumcloon, Co. Offaly, and uilleann piper Tom Nolan of Tullamore, Co. Offaly. It was among a number of ‘old ones’ that came to me from these two musicians.
