John Kelly recorded this on the same Seoda Cheoil LP recording mentioned above. Tom Keane himself was another old west Clare musician from whom John received a share of tunes. I remember John playing this reel during his many residency sojourns in Paddy O’Donoghue’s pub in Merrion Row, Dublin, throughout the early 1970s.
