The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
This one was composed by Johnny Harling of Chicago, and I first heard it played by Maureen Glynn and her class of young pupils. Maureen was a teacher of Irish music and dance when she was living in Brooklyn, New York, and this reel comes from her repertoire of many unusual jigs, reels, and hornpipes.
