Years later, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as I sat listening to a wonderful flute duet of Patty Bronson and Laura MacKenzie, the sound of another new setting of the jig aroused my interest. It was this second version of the tune. As I heard it played on other occasions by Patty and Laura, it wasn’t long before I was able to join in and play it with them.
