I remember Séamus Ennis playing this at a small folk gig in Dublin and when he introduced it, he dwelled a little on the advantages of having a healthy head of hair. Sitting too close to the stage for comfort were a few bald-headed men, and as I watched I noticed one man whose face had turned extremely red! I learned later that the same man had had some disagreement with Séamus, who at the time was defending the magical powers of his chanter.
