The English translation of this is “The Music of the Mass.” It was composed by the late Seán Ó Riada after he moved with his wife and family and settled in the west Co. Cork area of Coolea. Shortly afterwards he formed a Gaelic choir and wrote music which was played and sung throughout the entire Mass. ‘Ceol an Aifrinn’ was one of several pieces of music included in the overall presentation.
