    The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance.     Make your donation go further: a donation of €250 or more in any tax year is worth an additional 44.93% to ITMA. So for €50 more, ITMA can claim an additional €112.33 tax back from revenue.

    Irish-based donors can see their donations augmented by the State through the CHY3 form, which makes any donation above €250 worth €362.33 towards ITMA’s archival work, at no additional cost to you.

    The East Clare area of Feakle and Scariff has a long reputation for particular versions of tunes, especially from old concertina players. This tune appears to be a version of ‘Pat Canny’s Jig’ as I learned it from fiddle maestro Martin Hayes.
