This is the second jig that recognizes the repertoire of Mr. Hardiman. The other is ‘Hardiman the Fiddler’, which is a slip jig. Hardiman lived in Chicago during the late 1800s and is said to have given a number of tunes to Francis O’Neill, who included them in his collections.
