West Clare musicians have a history of playing this one, especially for solo and set dancing. I learned it in 1969 when I became a member of the Castle Céilí Band. At that time the band consisted of three West Clare musicians, fiddlers John Kelly and Joe Ryan, plus flute player Michael Tubridy.
