This is a typical west Co. Clare dance-style hornpipe which Bobby Casey and Junior Crehan were well known for playing. Bobby learned it from his father, whose name is the tune title. The Castle Céilí Band recorded this on a Comhaltas LP in 1970, along with another similar style hornpipe called ‘The Humors of Tullycrine.’
