This is usually played after ‘The Stack of Barley.’ Sligo master fiddler Michael Coleman recorded these two hornpipes together on one of his famous 78 rpm recordings. Musicians have generally played this selection as a pair ever since Coleman’s recording was first brought to Ireland in the early 1920s.
