    The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance.     Make your donation go further: a donation of €250 or more in any tax year is worth an additional 44.93% to ITMA. So for €50 more, ITMA can claim an additional €112.33 tax back from revenue.

    Irish-based donors can see their donations augmented by the State through the CHY3 form, which makes any donation above €250 worth €362.33 towards ITMA’s archival work, at no additional cost to you.

    ITMA is eligible for 501(c)3 donations, so for potential donors based in the USA, donating to ITMA can be a tax efficient way of making more and more archival material accessible to remote users.

    This is another given to me by Dan Collins, whom I wrote about earlier. Dan got this reel from his fiddle teacher John McGrath of Co. Mayo. The setting of this tune is unique for its wonderful second part and a colorful contrast when compared to the more common west Clare version that we know as ‘Bean Tinceiri,’ or ‘The Tinker Man’s Woman.’
