    The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance.     Donal Ward of Carrick, Co. Donegal gave me a recording of John Doherty playing this. It was from a reel-to-reel tape that belonged to Donal’s uncle, Columba Ward, who had taped the great fiddle music of John Doherty during the 1960s. Donal told me that Sally Hegarty was a melodeon player from Donegal. I recorded this one with The Castle Céilí Band in 1970.
