There’s something nostalgic about a lazy, hazy summer’s afternoon and the memory of playing on the edge of a meadow as a four-year-old child. The sound of a nervous corncrake outdone by the swiping travels of a bee coming back and forth. In later years, this memory led me to a title for the tune, one of my own compositions.
