The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
Séamus Ennis (1919-1982) became a legend in his own lifetime as an uilleann piper and tin whistle player, singer, storyteller, music collector, and broadcaster. He was born in Jamestown, Finglas, Co. Dublin. Over many years, he collected a large number of tunes and songs. This jig was one of his favorites that he played on radio and at many of his solo concerts.
