I first heard this one played on an old cassette given to me by fiddler Jamie Gans. The recording featured the late accordion maestro Paddy O’Brien of Tipperary, who played the march in Dan Larkin’s bar in Garrykennedy, Co. Tipperary during the late 1980s. The march is one of Paddy’s many compositions and one that’s widely played by box players in North Co. Tipperary.
