I first heard this reel played on my Aunt Maggie’s gramophone. All three parts of it echoed the musicianship of Co. Meath fiddler Frank O’Higgins. Because I was a young lad at the time, my mother read the name of the tune to me off the I ittle red stamp in the center of the record. When I heard the name I was very offended, thinking someone was accusing my Aunt Maggie of laziness.
