This was another of accordion player Bill Harte’s favorites, which I learned from fiddler John Kelly. The name is a puzzle to my sense of fair play. I suppose it depends on who or what was thrown when or where. It may have come, for example, from a decision by frustrated farmers trying to relocate a disgruntled sow.
