I learned this jig from a 1948 field recording of Pádraig O’Keefe. It’s a seven-part version of a more common setting of the same tune. It may be a composition from the musicianship of someone of the old Munster piping persuasion, as it seems to have much in common with a piper’s choice of embellishments.
