This is a well-known flute and fiddle jig from East Galway. I first heard it played by the old Leitrim Céilí Band when they were guests of Sean Ó Murchú for one of his Saturday night ‘Céilí House’ radio programs. The final results of my learning it came from the playing of Sligo flute player Seamus Tansey. It’s another jig that’s considered by many to be more than a hundred years old.
