This is the more common version of a very often played jig with five parts. I heard an old recording of Joe Burke playing this at a prize-winning concert performed in Birr, Co. Offaly in 1961. This is the recording I learned it from. Joe’s playing if it had a great rolling flow and beautiful note value.
