Fiddler Sean Ryan of Tipperary composed this lovely three-part hornpipe when he was a member of the Ballyoran Céilí Band. He named it after the small townsland near the town of Kilcormac in Co. Offaly. It was an immediate hit among traditional fiddle players of the 1950s and 1960s. Sean later went on to compose many more great hornpipes, jigs, and reels.
