    The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance.     Make your donation go further: a donation of €250 or more in any tax year is worth an additional 44.93% to ITMA. So for €50 more, ITMA can claim an additional €112.33 tax back from revenue.

    Irish-based donors can see their donations augmented by the State through the CHY3 form, which makes any donation above €250 worth €362.33 towards ITMA’s archival work, at no additional cost to you.

    ITMA is eligible for 501(c)3 donations, so for potential donors based in the USA, donating to ITMA can be a tax efficient way of making more and more archival material accessible to remote users.

    Frank Claudy composed this on the occasion of Eddie’s 80th birthday. Eddie was a great flute player who lived and worked on the grounds of St. Elizabeth’s convent around the corner from where Frank once lived in the Ednor Gardens area of Baltimore. Eddie was originally from Co. Sligo, and had emigrated to the U.S. in the late 1920s.
