The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
I remember how a couple of note patterns began to sweeten in my mind and so I began to hum them in a silent way and this led to more possible notes. After a few weeks, I had extended it and as I went on, I found I had four parts and was ready to play it. A friend and actor from local theater, John Lewin, christened it with the above title as a gesture of respect to all the leprechauns of Ireland.
